Hello fellow Halloween fanatics.

My daughter and I really love Halloween. Every year we put great effort into a front yard display and this year will be no exception--if you're from Winnipeg, Manitoba, look for the house with a complete 1428 Elm Street facade built into the opening of our garage. I will post pictures when it is nearer to completion. The theme is Freddy VS Jason...

A few of the goodies will include:

animatronic Jason (from spirithalloween.com)
animatronic zombies (also from spirit)
Me--in a complete Freddy costume (rubies) *my mask is wireless miked to the sound system
custom painted wood, styro facade of a psuedo-1428 elm street type house complete with a porch
lighting systems
automated fogging (ground and rising)
sound system

lots of little stuff too numerous to mention.

Until Halloween....

Thanks for all the nice responses and enthusiasm.

Ok, there is much to do still, but here are a few pics to tide everyone over (and prove I'm actually doing something!)

this is a picture of the porch that will be in front of the house facade (in front of my garage)

here is another pic with a few decorations.

here is close detail of a skull finial-i used off white primer and black spraypaint for the 'aged' look

I saw one of those Jasons at Spencers, and he is VERY creepy. I like the way his eyes move around. Can't wait to see the finished product. Welcome aboard, BTW! Always glad to have another Halloween fanatic join us...
