Hooch is needy this week
Well, when it rains, it pours...
0300: I just got home from admitting my husband to the hospital, he had what they call "mini stroke" or TIA. Symptoms have resolved, he is in for meds and observation. Scared the <deleted> outta me. Only 52 years old for cripes sake!! I'm sure he'll be fine, but I don't mind sayin' I was fine at the bedside, and cried when I got home. Makes you realize just how lost you'd be without 'em. So...more good vibes please, coming our way, I'd really appreciate it. You guys are the best cheering section EVER!!!
Love from your friend Hooch

I truly hope he gets better and that you can identify what needs to be done to prevent future tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with the both of you.
The dark night beckons. Bear us your soul, it whispers. Expose your wicked delights. Join the rest of us on the wind. The dark night beckons and we answer. Sailing into the shadows.

here's hoping for a complete recovery.
you're both in my prayers..I'm feeling sure things will be fine..early detection and bigger and better treatment options have really improved the odds and given cardio patients a big new outlook...
good luck. You'll both be enjoying the next harry potter in no time.

Oh, sweety, I'm so sorry you had to go through that, you have all the good vibes I can muster, headed your way. Tell Captain Jack we're all rootin for him, and hoping he's back in fine form soon. You guys take it easy, watch some classic horror movies and thank goodness your bad luck for the year is over with early. Bless you guys!
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Well guys, the news is good...no GREAT...all testing shows no damage to brain, no blocked vessels, everything in good working order. I brought Capt Jack home today after a nice relaxing ride out in the country in the Magic Pumpkin with the top down!!
ALL his symptoms have resolved, no residual damage, ready to rock n' roll! You don't know how much it means to me to have you guys here, supporting us, you are the BEST!!
Thank you all, from the bottom of my butt
(well, it's bigger than my heart
)!!
hauntmaster: a TIA is a Transient Ischemic Attack...you can have signs of stroke, but they go away without residual damage. (You might have heard it called a "mini-stroke")
