Ah spring!
The time of year when y'all start to fry and I get to complain about the cold.
Weekend forecast for my neck of California: foggy and temps in the mid-60's. Chance of partial clouds during the afternoons.
Where did I put that extra blanket?

I get up everyday at 5a...have to be at work by 6a. At least I get done by 2:30p though

Call centers. I hate call centers.
As a job, I mean. It's easy work but the management is full of b!tches, both male and female.

With my already vile hatred for telephones in general as for cell phones, I think if I had to work at a call center, I would go out and hang myself. AFTER I strangled 2 o 3 of the call center managers.

Mike, I used to work for MSN (Microsoft) in one of their call centers (tech support) and totally felt as you say you would. I hated that job, the day just dragged on and on, it was THE worse job I ever had. The only people that call tech support are the people who dont know what a "left click" is.
It makes you want to go on a spree.....

Some times I get that at my work place, too. In addition to being the school photographer, I also have on ocassion, had to set up A V set-ups for various people which included computer and LCD projectors & screens, and you would NOT BELIEVE how many Ph,Ds who don't know the difference between a "right click" or a "Left click," or how to turn on or off an LCD projector. We get calls all the time, and the problem was 'operator error,' pure and simple.
In my office there are 5 of us. We each have our own phone line, and we are all responsible for covering all the phone lines when one or more people are out of the office. Additionaly, everyone in my office, except for me, brings a cell phone, and those things keep going off every 10 seconds. And they have the most ANOYING ring tones I ever heard. "La Kukratcha" "Born to be Wild" "Alien voices ring tones" Bear f a r t ring tones, it goes on and on and on.
I'll take a photo shoot out at an abandoned insane asylum any day.
