Are the stars out tonight?
I don't know if it's cloudy or bright.
I only have eyes for two, dears.
The moon may be high,
But I can't see a thing in the sky.
I only have eyes, for two.
I don't know if we're in a garden,
Or on a crowded avenue.
Y'all are here and so am I,
Maybe millions of people go by.
But they all disappear, from view,
And I only have eyes, for twooooooo...
Aaawwww!! I love it!!!
Mac, I'm sure if we drink enough you'll sound just fine!!!

Smile or retch.... S'all good!
On years when Halloween falls on a Sunday, I think there ought to be an extra day added to the calendar, between Sunday and Monday, where all schools and businesses are closed. We can call it "Schmunday", and steal it from February's leap year. Who wouldn't prefer an extra day of Fall to an extra day of Winter?!?!

Actualy, it's my contention that Halloween should replace Columbus day as the offifcial holiday in October, and if it falls on a weekend, the holiday should either be the Friday before, (if Halloween is on a Saturday) or on the Monday after, if Halloween is on a Sunday like it's going to be t his year. The only thing is, I would still have to take a vacation day, because the college where I work, the students have Columbus Day off, but the staff does not.

What I don't like about Halloween on a Sunday is the obvious conflict it causes some people. Trick or treating will be held on Saturday around here, which means we either have the entire celebration on that day or have our party on Sunday. I might just have to put the traditionalist in me alseep this year.

I have allways been a staunch traditionalist about Halloween TOT, and so is the town where I live, with a few exceptions. TOT is going to be on Sunday the 31st, because it's allways on the actual day of Halloween. The only thing that bums me out about it is that it's a school night and a work night for many, so a lot of people have to get up with the alarm clock the next mornig. I would like to see Halloween made a leagal holiday so everyoen has at least one day to enjoy the fun, TOT ro what ever. That way, when Halloween falls on a Sunday or a Weekday, there will be a nice day off so the kids can enjoy themselvs without having to worry about it being a school night, and if it falls on a week day, they can have the entire day for TOT, or they can start TOT earlier, so they can be back home earlier in the evenign o repare for the school day the next day. Or, we can simply make the day after Halloween the day off, and let the kids enjoy their school party, and then go TOTing, and then have the next day off without having to worry about getting homework done and the like. I would suggest two holidays in a row, but that might not be a good idea since we have so many holidays during the last quarter of the year.
