would I need to catch up on the preceding seasons to understand what's-what?

Oh yes, Andy. You definitely don't want to start Breaking Bad with Season 3.

Get a hold of the first episode. If that doesn't grab you, I doubt anything will. If you make it to the end of the third episode, I guarantee you'll be hooked. Pun intended.


I've never seen Damages. What's it about?

Pawn Stars. It's kinda like Antiques Roadshow meets American Chopper. It's also a great motivator to diet and exercise.

I can believe he's that stupid.... What I can't believe is that they actually gave him a job!

Have any of youse watched 'Ugly Americans' on Comedy Central?

I'm kind of disappointed with the first two episodes, although the second was better than numero uno.

Hopefully it will keep improving because it would be a waste of a good premise.

I'll have to catch up with Breaking Bad. Sounds pretty good.

As for Tarantino films, Mac, you have a point.
Death Proof is like that...way too much on the inane dialogue. It just plays out as all him.

But by and large, there is not much I can find wrong with his movies. I'm hooked.

I'm watching Drag Me to Hell and am completely unimpressed. Blah!

I watched the first episode of Ugly Americans, and haven't bothered with any since. I'm also annoyed that it's bumped Sarah Silverman to after midnight...

Yeah, Drag Me To Hell was a let-down. The previews looked so good, and I had heard good things about it, but came off as cheesy and predictable.
