It hasn't started snowing yet, but it is kine of cold and rainy out. At least I'll be making some O T, videotaping a play. Tomorrow and Sunday, will likely be a total loss, though.

It has been mid-80's here for about 2 weeks solid! Loving every minute of it, too. Everything is coming up and leaves are popping out like it's summer already!
But over the weekend we are supposed to get some much-needed rain.
Sorry to hear about the snow attack, Pumpkin_Man.

The weather here has been totally schizo.... Last week it was both in the upper eighties and the lower forties. Yesterday it was eighty-two, today it's fifty-five. No wonder so many people are sick...

In the mornings it is around 30 degrees but by the end of the day it is around 66...goofy weather but at least sunny and mild right now.

The snow never came but it was pretty chilly on Saturday. Sunday was better, and I actualy got some motorcycle riding in. I went to see the movie "The Last Song." A bit depressing but it did have a happy ending.

Haven't heard of that one. What's it about?

In a nutshell, it was about a high school senior who spent the Summer with her father, didn't get along with very well with him, finds out he's dieing, and their relationship gets better. I dont' want to give away the whole movie, but it was pretty good. I would have prefered a horror movie, but sometimes a good story can be refreshing.

Like I said, it was a little depressing for my liking, but a good story with a happy ending. It does give one to think about what holding a grudge against a family member cau cause you to miss out on. My parents and I did not allways see eye to eye on everything. Good parents, God rest their souls, but to this very day I STILL think they made a horendously bad decision when they decided to move us to New Lenox, Ill. I loved them dearly, though, and I often wish I had told them that more often when they were still alive. It's the same deal with my older brother. He and I were pretty close, and the night he died, he invited me to his house, but I was too busy playing iwth my new DVD player. I had no idea what was about to happen, and I was supposed to have dinner with him the following Saturday. Unfortunately that "Saturday" never came.

I'm sorry to hear that, Mike.

My younger brother and I had a falling out with our older brother last year, but the conflict ended this past March, and we've pretty much gotten back to the point we were before The Troubles. I've begun calling it the "lost year", and I hope we never have another, because no one ever knows how many years anybody has, and we can't afford to lose any of them.

Good point. It's also a good idea to look into the various situations that caused the rift, because things often arent' what they seem.
