That's what I would do, if I were a retaler, SPOOKMART. Unfortunately as much proffit as selling Halloween merchandise makes, Christmas is much bigger, and people like my nieces and sister inlaw, who are really into Christmas will allways be on the look out for half priced Christmas decorations and the like. Just last weekend, my sister inlaw went to a whole sale shop in Robbins Ill and bought a whole car load of Christmas lights, ornaments, and stuffed Santa Clause dolls.

Well, I suppose it's a smarter way to shop, but I like to enjoy Summer, and then Fall and Halloween, and afterwords, Christmas in that order. I'm going to go shopping for 4th of July fireworks next pay day. Of course, I'll be thinking in terms of orange smoke bombs to be set off on Halloween, but I just plain don't even want to hear about Christmas until mid November. I confess, I'll probably be playing Christmas music when I do my Christmas house cleaning a week or so before Thanksgiving, but right now, it's time for motorcycle riding, trips to the beach, 4th of July fire crackers, and maybe a 'haunted road trip' or two.

Right now it's very humid and it's going to be in the low 90s today here in my neck of the woods so I think Summer 2013 has uploaded successfully. It's supposed to rain today and tomorrow so I won't be able to do any motorcycling, unfortunately.

On the bright side, next Friday I am going to Indiana for some 4th of July party favors and hopefully some large orange smoke bombs for next Halloween.

    Ha! Ha! Did you click on his Halloween prank link at the end of the video? I'm gonna have to stop by some funeral homes and see if they have any laying around. Be curious to see what the go for on eBay during the season. From $5 to $50 now.

    I'm enjoying the summer, too. So far it hasn't been as beastly hot as sometimes. I think that's one reason why fall is usually so welcome around here, because it means a break in the summer heat.

    I started seeing fall items in local craft stores in mid-June (Michael's, Hobby Lobby). I think they will come on apace now that the 4th is behind us. However, I am still in summer vacation mode.

    They had fall at the Hobby Lobby in my area. My husband had to shush me because I expressed my excitement rather loudly... * gives a sheepish grin-- Baaaah *

    ... and then 2 aisles down, there was an explosion of Christmas...

    * grumble, mutter *

    Actualy, I'll be seeing Halloween decorations around the end of this very month, and then around the 1st or 2nd of October, Christmas will be in full swing.
