There is definitely some gore and some partial nudity. But I wouldn't call it over the top by any means! The gore is just enough to add to the movie. You should definitely watch it.

I actually prefer eerie atmosphere to gore. I like romantic, eerie stuff. From Hell & Mary Reilly are actually two of my favorites Halloween movies, and neither is technically a Halloween movie. I also love The Ghost & Mrs. Muir, which is hard to classify. A bit of romantic comedy, & eerie ghost story, rolled into one.

I agree, I love spooky, scary.. even zombie movies, oddly enough, but I can't stand how overtly gore-ie movies are now days.

AWWW shucks
I like thrillers like Psycho, gore is okay once in a while but I like the psychological scary myself

I wanted to watch Trick r Treat when it was released but never got around to it. Well i've just ordered it on Amazon UK for £3.92 - that's a great price!
I'll have to decide whether to watch it when it arrives, or save it for my horrorthon in the run up to halloween?

Maybe. I know the novel was well thought of, and the movie got some Oscar nominations, I believe. But I also know it involved the death of a child (well, young adolescent) at the hands of a serial killer, and I have great difficulty with movies or TV shows that depict the death of children.

I'm not wearing this. It's too small. My boobs keep popping out.
