I thought it was a decent attempt at a ghost movie. It's making the rounds on the movie channels, you might find some of it funny.

I thought The Invention of Lying was a way better movie.

Spookymufu wrote:the problem with overly skeptical people is, they can come up with a hundred things it could be and never see it for what it really is.....and of course that works in reverse too
I put these two quotes together to illustrate the point I was making. ILMM thinks the reason I'm skeptical is because I haven't experienced the supernatural (the experience creates the belief). Spooky, on the other hand, thinks the reason I haven't experienced it is because I'm already skeptical, so even if something happened, I would be inclined to dismiss it as natural (the belief determines the interpretation of the experience). You two can fight amongst yourselves as to which of you is right.

I always find it interesting when someone says you have to "open your mind", as though it were possible to will oneself to believe in something. Think about this for a second; could you imagine being able to "open your mind" enough to will yourself to believe, really and truly believe, without any doubt anywhere in your mind, that Santa Claus exists? Taking everything you know about the story of Santa, and what he supposedly accomplishes every 24th of December, can you will yourself to accept and believe the story?

I'm not trying to be flip or derogatory here (for once! ). I think the world, amazing as it already is, would be even more interesting and amazing if the supernatural were real. But I can't will myself to believe something is true just because it would be cool if it actually were.

Although I have experienced what I would like to think are supernatural events, none of them have made me a true-blue believer, but I agree that it would certainly make the world a far more exciting place than it already is.

As for the crowbar, I'se gots yers right here, pal. 8)

It's easy to miss a bug splat on a windshield.

I dunno, you usually find those in dark, dank basements.

They can get pretty stinky fast.
