As early as 2020, 75 million to 250 million people in Africa will suffer water shortages, residents of Asia's megacities will be at great risk of river and coastal flooding, Europeans can expect extensive species loss, and North Americans will experience longer and hotter heat waves and greater competition for water, the report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says.

Meh. I don't pay too much attention to those kind of predictions. Us normal folk are always supposed to be afraid of some impending doom. In the 70's they were saying over-population was going to be the death of us within 20 years. There's always something.

This article is actually a little more tame than others I've seen. Most give a worse outlook on how things will be.

When I saw what was happenning - but I don't think I would believe it and I doubt it will happen to everyone. You know, all scientists are no perfect - imperfect!! They can happen to make some mistakes and they have to owe people an apologize in the future!


And also, will we go and live in Mars in the future?? Well, don't think so... maybe yes, if some people want to go live there while some other people want to stay here in Earth!
