Friday The 13th Remake in writing stage by Platinum Dunes

Post by Nostalgiascape » Wed Oct 10, 2007 1:57 am

I am a <deleted> Friday The 13th fan. Above Halloween, above everything else in horror. Jason's tha man!

I was a little concerned when I heard that they were thinking about remaking Friday The 13th. But once I saw what Michael bay did to breath new terror into Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I changed my tune. Plus, Rob Zombie isn't doing it. Bonus.

Writers were hired in September.
The dark night beckons. Bear us your soul, it whispers. Expose your wicked delights. Join the rest of us on the wind. The dark night beckons and we answer. Sailing into the shadows.

Well, if Rob Zombie isn't doing it, then it has a good chance of not sucking. :P
Because once you cross that bridge, my friend, the ghost is through, his power ends.

Untitled Friday The 13th Project (2009)

Sorry, no information at this time, but Crystal Lake Ent. is waiting to hear from a new director that is going to make this one. They don't know who is going to direct this movie at the moment. And the writers were by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.

Hey Nostalgiascape....did you know I am friends with Adrienne King? She is coming next october to my Bed N Breakfast and we are doing a big Friday the 13th weekend, with her signing autographs and taking pictures, it is going to be awesome. I was just at the real "Camp Crystal Lake", just a few weeks ago, and posted my pictures of it on here, Adrienne called us on the phone that night, and then we watched the movie. It was the coolest thing ever!
