Weeee! I have stomatitis!

Post by thislazylife » Tue Oct 02, 2007 5:26 pm

Which basically means that, in my case, after biting my tongue really hard a week ago, that bite turned into a canker sore. Then, that canker sore got infected and spread throughout my mouth and tonsils. So I have all these painful "mouth ulcers" in addition to a fever, cold sweats, and extreme fatigue. Doc put me on some antibiotics, so I should be feeling better soon.

Anyway, enough of my sob story. Has anyone seen the movie "Beyond the Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon"? I watched it last night and found it most entertaining. It wasn't a five star affair, but it was clever. All fans of slasher flicks should watch it. Here's a link for more info:

Lazy, I'm so sorry to hear about your bo-bo's!! I remember from having braces how painful sores in your mouth can be, I really feel bad for you! I know the antibiotics will help more than anything, but rinsing with warm salt water helped me back in the day, really anything warm to drink helped. I hope you get better quickly!

On the other topic, I thought "Behind the Mask" was freaking hilarious. I found it to be thoroughly entertaining to watch both as a spoof of the genre and as an actual horror movie. Great find!
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Because once you cross that bridge, my friend, the ghost is through, his power ends.
