no big celebrating this year

Post by midnight kitty » Tue Oct 02, 2007 9:44 am

this past weekend my father was admitted to the hospital for blood on the brain, the doctors said he wouldn't make it through the weekend. thankfully he did make it, but not w/out consequences. he's in a coma, when he wakes up he will most likely be paralyzed on his right side and might not be able to talk. he will no longer be able to work and disability won't be enough money. my parents already live w/ us and we depended on my fathers salary for 1/4 of the household bills, but w/out his salary aou household bills and my parents personal bills will be short the money needed. this brings us to having to move into a cheaper place. we want to move by nov 1 so we can be all settled for the holidya season. this means no halloween parties or major decorating coz we'll be too busy packing up.
because of everything, i won't be on much for a while.
don't worry aout my father, he will be ok, he's not allowed to leave us yet (hehehe)
trick or treat

I can't tell you how sorry I am for your family difficulty. Just when I want to whine and moan about not feeling in the holiday spirit I read your post that brings it all into perspective. My prayers are with you and your family. It's at times like those that I have a tendency to abandon all the pursuits in my life and concentrate on what's at hand. This may be your reaction as well but know that we'll always be here when you're ready to share and get your mind off the dark clouds at hand and have a little fun.

So incredibly sorry to hear about all the problems, Rosie. I've got my fingers crossed for your dad, your family, and you, that you all are able to pull through this well and much more easily than you anticipate.
Act well your part; there all the honour lies.

Sorry to hear that Rosie. But we're behind you with prayers and happy thoughts. I hope your father can be rehabilitated to at least talk again. Keep trying and don't give up. Love conquers all. Never forget. We love you. Best of luck and don't fade from the forum. At least you can enjoy what we're doing. It helps, believe me.

Much love & best wishes.

Oh Rosie I'm so sorry to hear what's happened! Your poor dad! My prayers are with you and your family for his speedy recovery *hugs*

I'm really sorry that you won't get to have the celebration of Halloween this year that you wanted - if there is anything we can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask.
