. . . but I thought I'd get more responses here. I have a great idea for a Halloween cocktail party I'm going to throw this year, probably the weekend before Halloween. Some of you Halloween.com veterans (you know, those of us who were here last year) might remember when I posted pics of the cemetery I built in my yard. Well, of course I'm going to set it up again this year, but I'm going to send out funeral notices (invitations) to about 15 of my closest Halloweenist friends, encouraging them to dress like they're attending a wake. All black. I'll play Halloween themed cocktail music, fill the house with colored lights and candles. But the best part is that once we're all good and buzzed, we're going to take a cab to the Coast Guard Halloween Haunted House in Eureka! Do any of you live in/near Humboldt County, California? Because of course you're invited!

That's sounds cool.

Just one thought. I don't know who big your party will be but if you invite a large number make sure there is no one on the guest list who recently had a close family member pass away. Could have a very negative result. Which you really don't want.

Yes, I've already considered that. It will be small. Like 10 - 15 people max.
