Haunting Los Angeles!

Post by tomanderson » Tue Oct 23, 2007 10:31 pm

I posted an announcement in the Haunted House Chat section of the board, but I wanted to post a note here too--about the Creepy Hollow haunted attraction in the Culver City/Los Angeles area. See the Haunted House Chat section for more details.

This week, I am helping them publicize a little, to bring in a few more customers, and I am donating my time and special effects experience to make their haunt just a little bit spookier! This is very exciting to me and I wanted to tell you all about it. Maybe I can get some pictures.

tom, I'm so jealous. do you remember KMET, the L.A. heavy metal radio station? They held the "House of Horrors" every year. I worked at that back in '84. I was only 16 and it was such a blast.

Too bad I live 14 hours north these days, or I'd definitely come check yours out.
Laurie stares at the station wagon as it moves past. She looks directly at The Shape inside. There is a quick glimpse of him, a strange pale face staring back.

Now here are some photos from Creepy Hollow! There is one showing one of the ghouls holding one of my Zombie Baby dolls. I believe this is the first time a Zombie Baby has been used in a haunted attraction...

Again for you Los Angeles folks, Creepy Hollow is in Culver City, just south of the 10 freeway at the Overland exit. 3101 Overland Ave is the address. The very charming people who run it were nice enough to let me grab a few photos so I could show them to you guys!
