This is the time of year to write to the Great Pumpkin! On Halloween night the Great Pumpkin rises out of his pumpkin patch and flies through the air with his bag of toys for all the children!

My neighbors have decorated outside. I haven't done that yet.

I used to decorate the yard at the beginning of the month back when there were 4 houses doing a large theme across the 4 yards, but the neighbors don't decorate any more for various reasons, and I'm the only person that still decorates on my street, so now I usually wait until the last week to decorate the yard. But we have a bunch of decorations up inside the house already.

Hmmm... still no strangers on the forums yet.

Yes, I'm a little disappointed not to see more traffic, too.

It is what it is. Some people might just be busy with their lives.
I need to get my own decorations out...planning to keep it simple at the house because of the lack of trick or treaters.
But I have noticed some great decorations in our area.
Some people have a bunch of skeletons on a hill and they every so often change the positions of them. First they were dancing like ballerinas and then they were running away from one of the skeletons...skeletag!
Then I see a lot of these giant skeletons and scare crows. The scare crows are really cool, I actually saw one at Sam's club. Too bad they're a little pricy, but it would be cool to have.

I love it when people are imaginative and playful with the skeletons.

My yard is mostly decorated now, but I'll be putting out a few more things piecemeal.
