My all-time favorite TV show was Frasier. They did many good holiday-themed shows, including several Halloween episodes.
I liked Rosanne, too, before it sort of lost its way there at the end. And Night Court was a great show, I thought.

Okay, 1. I don't like talking polotics on this forum, 2. I am probably going to come off like an 'old fuddy duddy' again, and 3. everyone, including Rosanne Bar is entitled to their opinions, BUT I had a brother who went to Vietnam, and an uncle who faught in World War 2. For that reason, I don't particularly like Rosanne Bar, and I don't like it when our flag or our National Anthem is held up to riducule.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not angry at anyone here, and I realize that we all have our own ways of thinking. BUT, I must admit, when it comes to people like Rosanne Barr or Jane Fonday, my sensibilities are somewhat offended, so I avoid any movies or tv shows with those two people in them.

Oh, I know lots of people who don't like to watch entertainers with whom they disagree politically. Everyone's got a right to watch whomever they like, or not.
I don't really put Roseanne Barr in the same category as Jane Fonda, who actually went to Vietnam during the war and more or less gave "aid and comfort" to the enemy. I don't actually know of anything Roseanne has said or done, other than her misguided attempt at comedy while singing the National Anthem (and, no, I didn't like that, either). I do recall that, back when she briefly had an afternoon talk show, she pointedly gave Tom Selleck the opportunity to state his views about gun rights. This was shortly after a big fracas he'd had with Rosie O'Donnell, who had refused to let him speak on her show. (I mean, he was a guest, and she refused to let him speak.) So I think Roseanne is more open-minded than some celebrities, although I don't know her mind about everything and probably wouldn't agree with her on every subject.
I had forgotten about the NA incident until that video brought it to mind again. I wonder who thought it was a good idea to let a non-singer attempt that song, anyway? The National Anthem is a tough one even for professional singers.

I think you have a point there. Rosanne Bar is no where's near the traitor that Jan Fonda is. Now that I see it the way you pur it, I think her attempt at comedy was just misguided. I still don't like her poking fun at the National Anthem, and I also don't think too much of her as an entertainer. Even though I don't watch her show, I actualy did check out her tv show once, but I didn't like it just on content. So perhaps I was a little less open minded then I should have been. But again, members of my family did pay for her freedom through their sacrofice, and while neither one of them died 'over there,' they both did lose over 4 years of their lives.
Jane Fonda, on the other hand, I do hate, but I am not going to go there on this forum. She did murh worse then just give 'aid and comfort.'
