Rosie, I cried reading your post, I am so terribly sorry for what's happened to your father. But there is "Hope", he has pulled through when they said he probably wouldn't, so you and your family, you work with him and never stop working with him to regain his motor skills ok, don't accept that he can't make a recovery, it may take time and a lot of work, but it can be done. I'm just so thankful he's pulled through. I'm very sorry to hear though about the resulting troubles this has caused you and your family, I sincerely hope that everything works out for you, you sound like you have a close family which will really help you through these very difficult times-but we are always hear to listen anytime you need a supportive ear. My prayers go out to your father for a full recovery, and to you and your family, that you will be carried through these hard times with much love and support.

Oh, Rosie, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad and your financial problems! Bless you for taking care of your parents, you're a wonderful daughter and they're lucky to have you. I know it's difficult, but Halloween is always in your heart, and even if you can't celebrate in a big way, you can take a break from packing to sip some pumpkin coffee and burn a candle and watch Halloweentown to keep your spirits up. Sometimes it's the little things that make the big things bearable.

Please know that all of us here are thinking good thoughts for you, and you'll always have a little home away from home here for when you need to recharge and vent.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.
