Bring On October!

Post by Spooky » Sun Sep 30, 2007 11:32 pm

Tomorrow the invitations go out for my Halloween party.

I think this year I have decorated more than any other year.

Tonight I made a stuffed werewolf, and put him out front with a spotlight shining on him, he's pretty cool.

I found some Microwaveable candy corn flavored popcorn at Wal-Mart-has anyone else seen it, or tried it? I bought it for in treat bags. I thought it was cool sounding, it probably tastes gross, but I hope not.

I decided to be a Scarecrow for Halloween, my best friend is going to be Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz....so I am going to sew patches out of Halloween fabric to a pair of old jeans, and I found a cool straw hat, I am going to sew fake fall leaves to it, and to my shirt, and wear my hair in braids, and I got make up to make patches on my faces too.

I am doing a Harvestfest this weekend.....I am going to have my paintings for sale. I bought this cool wooden green triangular trellis at Lowe's, and I wrapped it with orange lights and leaf garland, and put s hooks all over it to hang my paintings on it, as a display. I thought it was cool-I'll reuse it for Christmas too, I figure I will wrap the whole thing in pine garland and it will look like a tree, and I'll stick lights on it.

Tomorrow night, I start watching a Horror movie every night for the whole month of October.

How's everyone's plans coming for Halloween?
