Cobweb (2023)
Saw this movie last night. Unusual in that I usually wait till October to watch Halloween themed movies. But I've been looking forward to this. Can be seen on Amazon Prime Video. [Spoilers below] I dug it! Another Halloween classic that is obviously set up for a sequel. A bit of the supernatural mix...

Re: New Member Introduction, #3
OK so I'm not new...but I received an email that the board had moved. It's been a LONG time since I haunted the Halloween forums, but I think it's time I rose from the dead... Yeah. Me too. I also got the email. Lucky I changed it recently! No longer have access to my old gmail. r/Halloween is real...

Finally! A Witchy sighting. Not that I haven't been neglectful of this board but someone turned me into a frog and it took a while to change back. Couldn't type. Have you ever tried typing with suckers on your fingers? And voice rec didn't work. Only thing that came out was "croak, croak"...

Re: Whatcha eatin' right now?
Not eating, drinking. I finally got my hands on some Voodoo Ranger Atomic Pumpkin beer. I discovered this stuff a few years ago. One of the few pumpkin beers I like that doesn't have that cinnamon-spice/pumpkin pie flavor. In fact, this is not only my favorite pumpkin beer, it's probably my favorit...

How did you spend your Summerween?
Happy belated Summer Solstice y'all!
Here's how we celebrate in San Diego!
I can't believe we are on the downward slope to the Autumn Equinox.

Re: 4th of July
No 4th of July where I live, but my wife's French and we have the 14th of July, Heck, without the French there would be no United States, so tell your wife 'Thank You' for me. Then again, without the Allied Forces there would be no France so she owes us some of that bread, cheese and wine. ;) One...

Howdy Olivier! Don't be put off by Halloween being an 'American' thing. As Mike said, Halloween has roots way beyond the advent of the U.S. Heck, look at what the Mexicans did, took the same roots and created a whole other holiday. They call it 'Day of the Dead'. You guys need a Russian, or Belgian...

Don't even bring up skunks! I had some get under my house a few months back. I kept chasing them out but they kept outsmarting me. This place stunk to high heaven for a while. Never had this problem when my cats were still alive. Don't know if I've ever told you guys but I have a couple housemates ...

Re: Ghost Looking In Window
Did I ever tell you guys about the time we were working in a really old hotel here in town? The Hotel Del Coronado. Well known to be haunted. A buddy I was working with was from out of town, and I was telling him the story of the ghost. He refused to believe anything I said. Towards the end of the ...

Where'd you see ILMM? Come to think of it, I haven't seen anything recent from Witchy. I hope no one threw water on her.

Re: Halloween III Season of the witch
Yay Halloween III! I love how it delves into the true origins of the holiday. I would have preferred we got more of this type of thing but instead we got more Michael Myers, and more, and more, and... sigh. Here's hoping the new Trick r' Treat movie , if it ever comes, doesn't just rehash the first...

Oh, for sure. I think earthrise from the moon (Apollo 8?) was the moat significant photo of the 20th century. I think the 'Pale Blue Dot' photo, as Carl Sagan put it, was pretty significant too. Taken from Voyager One at over 4 billion miles from Earth. https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/system/resou...

Sorry to say I'm not a gamer, though I am currently watching Zombgief playing WoW on twitch. But only because he's a cool dude and I like the music he plays.

If you happen to be walkin through the cemetery and hear snoring coming from an open grave, don't worry. It's just Andy taking a nap.
